We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic Security Consultant to join our client’s growing Warrington team. The successful candidates will support major projects within the nuclear industry in the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate will have experience in both list “N” and list “X”.
Due to the nature of the work, the candidates must have a suitable background that will allow them to achieve UK security clearance (SC).

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting vetting and security processing for relevant clearances pertaining to the Nuclear and Defence sectors.

Full scope of security related tasks including Physical, Cyber and Auditing.

Liaising with external sites and organisations to ensure the accurate delivery of security outputs.

Stakeholder management to ensure prioritisation of tasks to reduce delays to essential works.

Managing resource to ensure project delivery within budget.

Key Requirements:

A proven track record of applying security principles in the Nuclear or Defence Industry.

A drive to ensure successful delivery and continuous client satisfaction by delivering pragmatic and proportionate solutions.

An ability to quickly grasp complex issues and apply knowledge and experience to deliver pragmatic and proportionate solutions.

Previous Security or Procurement experience in the Nuclear of Defence sector is essential for this role.

SC Clearance.

Able to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently where needed.

Clear communication skills are essential, both verbal and written, and strong organisational skills and attention to detail are critical.

Strong analytical and logical skills are essential.
