Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Internal Auditor - Associate for the EMEA Securities Services Team.

You will assist in planning and executing audit engagements, evaluate and report on management's controls, and communicate findings while partnering with global audit colleagues and business stakeholders. This role offers exposure to CIB Payments businesses within Securities Services, including Custody, Fund Accounting, Depositary Services, Transfer Agency and Trading Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in auditing or relevant business experience.
• Understanding of internal control concepts and risk-based evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Executes, documents, and participates in audit engagements, taking ownership for assigned tasks, and produce quality deliverables to both department and professional standards.
• Works closely with global Audit colleagues in the early identification of emerging control issues and report them in a timely manner to Audit management and business stakeholders.
• Finalizes audit findings and uses judgement to provide an overall opinion on the control environment by developing recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
• Communicates audit findings to management and identify opportunities for improvement in the design and effectiveness of key controls.
• Identifies opportunities to drive efficiency within existing technical infrastructure through automation, while embracing innovative opportunities offered by new technologies.
• Recognizes the confidentiality of Internal Audit communications and protects information as per firm policy.
