Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London seeks an Associate for the External Reporting Team within Equities Product Control. You will help maintain data integrity, strengthen controls, and drive process improvements across trading, finance, and operations.

You will design and enhance controls for balance sheets and liquidity, automate tasks, and support audits while collaborating with multiple teams to deliver accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, STEM, or related field.
• Experience in product control, financial analysis, or similar analytical role.
• Understanding of equities products including cash equities, equity derivatives, swaps, and financing.
• Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau.
• Experience with process improvement, control enhancement, or automation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and enhance controls for daily and monthly balance sheet and liquidity processes.
• Identify risks early and ensure robust data and reporting.
• Seek smarter, more efficient ways of working and automate tasks.
• Reconcile trading positions, balances, and valuations with accuracy.
• Collaborate with trading, treasury, operations, and finance teams.
• Support audits and maintain clear process documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
• Identify automation opportunities using tools such as Alteryx.
