Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Program Manager to support a multi-year re-platforming project within the Depositary Services Product in EMEA Securities Services. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role involves supporting the program leadership team, managing governance, controlling timelines, and ensuring alignment with the Securities Services Data Strategy. The project, known as Project Edger, aims to decommission the primary proprietary technology platform, Praesys, and integrate new technology solutions, including a reference data service and a Data Lake publishing engine. It will also involve offshoring to India and achieving productivity gains through technology enhancements.

The Praesys tool is used to perform Depositary oversight across 3,500 funds and more than three trillion dollars in assets. It receives over 1,200 data feeds, mostly daily, across multiple asset classes and fund management services. The end-state architecture will leverage the Securities Services Data Lake and modern technology to deliver a first-class Depositary product.

Job responsibilities:

  • Align with the Securities Services Data Strategy and broader business objectives.
  • Provide administrative support to the project leadership, including managing governance frameworks, controlling timelines, and coordinating meetings.
  • Track the decommissioning of the Praesys platform and the integration of new technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Product Development, Technology, and Operations to support delivery across multiple streams and years of work.
  • Assist in coordinating offshoring activities to India, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and productivity gains.
  • Monitor program progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones through effective oversight.
  • Help promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by supporting the use of data and analytics across the business.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Work experience, preferably from a graduate program with job rotation within the financial services industry.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with very senior management and cross-functional teams on complex technical subjects.
  • Basic understanding of data management principles and governance frameworks derived from experience.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies, including AI and analytics, to business challenges.
