Job summary

Adecco in London seeks a Securities Operations Technology Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation. Hybrid role with 2–3 days in the office, and a 7-month initial contract via umbrella company, offering exposure to AI-enabled solutions in securities processing.

You will analyse post-trade workflows across settlements, asset servicing and corporate actions; drive automation of settlement instructions; assess PSET/SSI governance; and collaborate with vendors to explore AI

Qualifications

• Financial services background required.
• Extensive experience in securities operations and post-trade processing.
• Strong understanding of settlement lifecycles and operational controls.
• Expertise in PSET and SSI governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational workflows across settlements, asset servicing, corporate actions and cash management.
• Support automation of settlement exceptions and operational issues.
• Facilitate automation for settlement instruction management across teams.
• Assess PSET requirements and settlement routing.
• Review and standardise settlement instructions for quality.
• Collaborate with vendors on functionality and AI capabilities.
• Document requirements and perform gap analysis between current and target models.
• Gather and document business and operational requirements.
• Create process maps and support testing for operational readiness.
• Conduct operational risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities.
• Ensure solutions align with governance requirements.
• Create current and future-state process maps.
• Conduct settlement exception analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Implement automated Settlement Instruction processing.
• Report on operational performance metrics and risk management.
