Job summary

CGI in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solution Architect to design secure, scalable architectures for mission-critical national services. You will translate complex needs into technical direction, guiding delivery teams to produce high-value outcomes while owning architectures end-to-end.

You will collaborate with clients and engineering groups, embed security and compliance practices, and influence senior stakeholders on technology directions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure, scalable architectures across complex environments.
• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven patterns with clear architecture docs.
• Hands-on engineering experience (IaC, DevOps, Java/Python/.NET).
• Strong understanding of security architecture and risk management.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Experience influencing teams and stakeholders.
