Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Trusted Research Programme Manager in Stratford, London, to lead the delivery and development of our Trusted Research Environment and secure data platform. The role is 35 hours per week, fixed-term for 12 months, hybrid with in-office days and flexible working.

You will drive planning, governance, KPIs and resource management, while enabling researchers and NHS partners to access and deploy data securely. Apply to help beat cancer.

Qualifications

• Experience managing health-related research programmes with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of working with sensitive health data and data governance frameworks.
• Experience developing and reporting on programme plans, milestones and KPIs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience supporting multi-institutional research projects.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and continuous development of Cancer Research UK's Trusted Research Environment and wider secure data platform programme.
• Drive programme planning, governance and performance management, developing and tracking milestones, KPIs and resource requirements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiencies.
• Support researchers and projects through data access, approvals, onboarding and deployment processes.
• Build and manage relationships with researchers, NHS partners, industry representatives and commercial suppliers.
• Promote the benefits of secure research environments across the cancer research community.
