Job summary

Salter Grange Limited on behalf of a leading Tier-1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager for a major secure-sector project in the North West. The role is 100% dedicated to the project, with a 50/50 split between site-based work in Liverpool and office duties.

You will lead MEP delivery, manage specialist subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, coordinate with the project team, client and consultants, and drive commissioning and handover in a live operational

Qualifications

EL1 or SC security clearance is essential.
Experience on complex construction projects as BSM/MEP Manager.
Experience in secure/regulated environments is advantageous.
SMSTS and CSCS qualifications required.
Live operational environment experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health activities across the project.
Coordinate and manage specialist MEP subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
Oversee installation, quality, technical compliance, commissioning and handover activities.
Manage technical queries, design coordination and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team, consultants and client representatives to resolve technical and programme issues.
Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant specifications, regulations, health & safety requirements and project standards.
Provide regular progress updates and maintain strong project documentation and reporting.
