Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Gloucester is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a growing team delivering secure, mission-critical solutions within the Defence and National Security sector. You will design, deploy, secure, and support complex IT infrastructure and applications.

The role emphasizes automation, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud/on-premise environments, with exposure to Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting. Collaboration with engineers and customers is central to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering or platform engineering.
• Windows and Linux administration experience.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins or similar. Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Git, GitLab or Bitbucket and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud technologies and Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure IT infrastructure.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Ansible.
• Administer Windows and Linux environments.
• Support cloud deployments across public, private and hybrid platforms.
• Work with Kubernetes and Docker container technologies.
• Monitor and improve system performance, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and customers on technical solutions.
