Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Senior Head of Technology and Data to drive the strategy and delivery of the Secure Data Environment. The role requires senior leadership across technology, cloud, data services and governance, with a track record of delivering complex programmes in regulated settings.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with NHS leaders and external partners to achieve secure, compliant digital outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership of technology, cloud or data services in regulated environments.
• Ability to set strategy and oversee delivery, performance and operations.
• Strong understanding of information governance, cyber security and compliance.
• Experience budgeting, procurement and supplier management in digital services.
• Experience with NHS structures or similar regulated sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology and data strategy for the Secure Data Environment.
• Deliver complex programmes, roadmaps and service improvements.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely delivery within resources.
• Manage risk, budgets and procurement with external partners.
• Engage senior leaders and stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes.
