Job summary

CGI Group Inc. is seeking experienced software engineers for its Space, Defence and Intelligence unit in the UK.

You will join a cross-functional team delivering secure, mission-critical systems on client sites with a focus on DevOps, cloud, and automation. CGI offers learning and development opportunities, a pension, private healthcare, and a share scheme; candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance and willing to work on-site at client locations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
• Proficient in Python, Go, Java, and modern DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure software solutions and system architectures.
• Develop and support IaC, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Deliver containerised apps using Kubernetes and related platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across development and deployment environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, infra teams and stakeholders; mentor juniors.
