Job summary

ByDesign Secure Systems Ltd is seeking a CDS & Data Labelling Specialist (inc. DLP) to join a multi-year transformation program in UK security environments. You will implement data classification, DLP policy creation, and cross-domain guard configurations to support secure national systems.

The role requires active SC/DV clearance, UK citizenship, and the ability to work in a hybrid London/Bristol setting. You will develop designs, guide implementation, and collaborate with architecture,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data protection, DCS, and cross-domain solution deployment.
• Hands-on with Fortra DCS, DLP, CDS guard appliances, content inspection and labeling.
• Experience in air-gapped environments.
• Experience in regulated or classified environments.
• Strong written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in data classification, DLP policy enforcement, and CDS guard configuration.
• Configure Fortra DCS for visual marking and labeling across documents.
• Define and tune DLP inspection policies and rules.
• Configure cross-domain hardware appliances, sanitisation pipelines, and release filter rules.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (HLDs, CLDs, LLDs, runbooks).
• Produce and present designs and plans through governance and TDA processes.
