Job summary

Post Office Ltd in Newcastle is seeking a Cash Carrying Crew Member to join the CViT security-focused team. You’ll deliver and collect valuable items across Post Office networks from a secure location, working either solo or as part of a team.

We value experienced drivers with UK licences, strong customer service and clear communication. A C1 and SIA licence are advantageous, and English GCSEs are required; training and progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Experienced driver with a valid UK driving licence.
• Previous customer service experience, ideally with multi drop delivery.
• First-class communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• GCSE English (D+) or equivalent; may require English assessment.
• Current C1 licence and SIA licence beneficial but not essential.
• SIA licence required before starting; will be applied if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect high-value items securely and on time.
• Work from a secure location, independently or as part of a team.
• Represent Post Office to customers from Post Office and external organisations.
• Engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities.
