Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior AI/ML specialist to design, develop and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for complex structured and unstructured data in secure environments.

You will collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to build scalable pipelines, deliver dashboards and actionable insights for stakeholders. The role requires hands-on expertise in Python data science tools, NLP, graph analytics, time-series analysis and a track record in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working in secure or highly regulated environments.
• Handling sensitive or classified data.
• Strong knowledge of modern data science and machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Proficiency in the Python data science ecosystem, including NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with big data and distributed analytics platforms, including Spark and Hadoop.
• Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing, graph analytics and advanced analytical methods.
• Experience using cloud analytics platforms, with strong AWS and native tooling expertise.
• Data visualisation skills and experience communicating insights through analytical tools and dashboards.
• Ability to work closely with users and stakeholders to understand real-world problems and translate complex analysis into actionable insight.
• Must hold a high level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for complex data.
• Build and maintain scalable data/AI pipelines for analytics.
• Apply ML, NLP, graph analytics and time-series analysis to data.
• Prepare, transform and integrate large multi-source datasets.
• Develop predictive models and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Train, tune and validate models in secure production environments.
• Collaborate with data/software/platform teams to deploy solutions.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to AI/ML strategy.
• Work in agile teams with analysts and operational users.
• Deliver intelligence data exploitation and decision-support systems.
