Role Description

The Sector Leader will oversee the UK&I Sector Lender, Investors, and Insurers business, managing the sector P&L and delivering the strategic plan. Develop and implement strategies for sustainable, profitable growth, increasing market share, and delivering exceptional service within the LII Sector. Lead client development and sales efforts, collaborating across units to leverage organizational capabilities. Act as a thought leader and maintain a strong market presence.

  • Direct Reports: LII Account Leaders
Role Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute the UK&I Sector strategy aligned with the Places strategy, focusing on growth, revenue, and market share.
  • Allocate growth objectives by identifying and targeting new and existing clients to meet or exceed revenue, bookings, and margin targets.
  • Lead profitable growth with priority accounts.
  • Support other sectors' growth through insights and follow-on work with real estate developers and owners.
  • Manage the sector pipeline, ensuring accurate data to inform planning.
  • Foster a client-centric, innovative, and people-focused culture to ensure satisfaction and engagement.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of business leaders, setting objectives and reviewing performance.
  • Participate in bid processes and oversee client proposals to ensure pipeline health.
  • Manage risks and opportunities, with full P&L accountability, to maximize value.
  • Oversee sector resources, recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Identify and take to market new client, product, and service opportunities.
  • Translate global sector value propositions into regional offerings that differentiate Arcadis and generate demand.
  • Build relationships within Arcadis UK&I and globally to foster cooperation and diversification.
  • Champion client care, strengthening relationships and enhancing brand value.
  • Define and execute sector strategies for high-value clients and projects contributing significant revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Business Director to align resources with growth strategies.
  • Ensure effective application of Market to Opportunity and Pursuit to Win processes.
  • Manage relationships at the Board level with key clients.
  • Deliver gross revenue growth of £7.5m annually.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary workforce of approximately 130 employees to achieve pursuits and service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Deep understanding of the Lender & Investor / Real Estate market, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Experience in Technical Due Diligence, Investment Monitoring, ESG, and Building Surveying Services.
  • Proven success as an account director and in sales within the UK Real Estate market.
