Sector Lead Logistics/ Asset Manager

As a future Sector Lead Logistics/Asset Manager, reporting to the Global Sector Lead/Local Head of AM, you will be part of AXA IM Alts Real Estate.

AXA Investment Managers' teams have over 30 years' experience investing in real assets. Our approach is built on a unique 360° view of the market and strong convictions developed over economic cycles, guiding our product development and investment decisions for long-term value creation.

The Asset Manager role involves managing and creating value in a large portfolio of logistics assets, including operational assets and forward sales. You will be a key stakeholder with investors, proposing and implementing value creation strategies.

  1. Define asset strategy aligned with investor requirements, including portfolio growth through acquisitions and forward sales.
  2. Prepare annual business plans with action plans and financial models, secure approval, and oversee implementation.
  3. Prepare investment memorandums for acquisitions and submit to the Investment Committee.
  4. Manage asset budgets (revenues, opex, capex) with property managers or operators.
  5. Monitor forward sales, pre-leasing, and delivery timelines.
  6. Oversee external valuations and asset KPIs, contribute to investor reporting.
  7. Manage property managers and external service providers.
  8. Handle tenancy issues, claims, legal matters, and supervise legal advisors.
  9. Analyze asset data to ensure legal compliance and liquidity.
  10. Propose asset evolution or repositioning, coordinate refurbishment or development, and implement ESG plans.
  11. Coordinate stakeholders and represent investors in co-ownership.
  12. Prepare and manage asset disposals.
  13. Support investment underwriting and onboarding of new assets.
Your Profile

Your qualifications and experience include:

  • Degree in business or real estate; RICS accreditation is a plus.
  • Proven real estate experience, especially in asset and investment management or property companies.
  • Expertise in logistics asset management/development and knowledge of the logistics market.
  • Understanding of real estate legislation and financial techniques.

Your skills include:

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills in an international environment.
  • Effective communication at executive and peer levels.
  • Autonomous, proactive, entrepreneurial, results-oriented.
  • Financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
