Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a Section Planner to help keep the railway safe and efficient. You will develop and optimise work plans, coordinate access to the railway, produce safe work plans, manage planning meetings, and ensure records and systems are accurate.

You will work with teams across the business to support maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are delivered on time and safely, with strong emphasis on planning discipline, documentation, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience creating efficient, practical work plans.
• Scheduling experience with planning tools.
• Knowledge of access and possession processes.
• Understanding Safe System of Work planning and systems.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
