What we do.

This fantastic opportunity will be based at our Bakkavor Pizza site in Holbeach St Marks, Lincolnshire. The site specialises in making chilled pizzas and is 11 miles from Spalding, 13.5 miles from Boston, 18 miles from Wisbech, 23 miles from King's Lynn and 29 miles from Peterborough.

About the role.

You will manage, organise and control all activities within the Assembly section of the factory on Red shift. You will assign and organise staff alongside managing productivity and performance ensuring the achievement of the required service levels and performance results.

Accountabilities:

1. You will walk the floor of the production area and manage start-up procedures, receiving a handover from the previous shift and ensuring there is no excess or shortage of labour in the production areas.
2. Complete Return to Work interviews, attend daily review meetings and team briefings.
3. Constructively challenge performance of area - quality, throughput rate and crew size.
4. Effectively audit daily technical paperwork.
5. Assist First Line Coordinator in DWOR completion.
6. Document handover for oncoming shift and ensure packing area is left in a clean and safe condition.
7. Review Productivity and NME Losses Graph to identify opportunities for improvement
8. Identify performance management / training requirements within the area and manage the process / delivery

About you.

1. Experience in a production or section management role within the food manufacturing industry.
2. Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement.
3. A solid understanding of retailer expectations and how we meet them.
4. You'll be a great leader, capable of inspiring and engaging your team, understanding the pressure of a factory environment.
