We are currently recruiting for the role of Fabrication/Fitter Section Leader at our Inshore Lifeboat Centre (ILC) on the Isle of Wight. This role involves managing the workshop's efficient operation, fabrication, and assembly, contributing to the production of new build and refit lifeboats.
You will work closely with other Section Leaders involved in the production line, report progress at relevant meetings, and be responsible for the performance management of your team via the RNLI RADAR system. Motivating your team, engaging in practical workshop tasks, managing health and safety, and continuously improving work practices are essential responsibilities.
We seek a highly organized and self-motivated individual with relevant trade and leadership experience. The candidate should be adept at managing workshop operations, supporting technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and technical problem-solving, all while maintaining high service standards.
