Job Title:

Senior Engineer / Sub Agent

Location:

North Kent / Crawley area

Company Overview:

A leading regional civil engineering contractor is recruiting for a Senior Engineer / Sub Agent to join their busy Southeastern Division, working on a large highways project starting in March 2025.

Responsibilities:

1. Work on civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, rivers, coastal, marine, and public realm works.
2. Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes.
3. Manage designs from inhouse and external designers.
4. Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing.
5. Collaborate on resource, plant, and material requirements.
6. Train and mentor junior engineering team members.
7. Demonstrate value engineering throughout construction.
8. Manage RFIs and technical queries.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in the specified sectors, is essential.
