Balfour Beatty plc is recruiting an experienced Section Engineer for the NZT project on Teesside. You will lead engineering activities, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery of civil works within a large-scale decarbonisation programme.
You will mentor Site Engineers, review drawings and specs, and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Cardinal emphasis on buildability and compliance at every stage.

We are now looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join our team on the landmark Net Zero Teesside (NZT) project in Teesside. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role on one of the UK's flagship decarbonisation projects, supporting the delivery of major civil engineering works that will help transform the UK's energy infrastructure. Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll take ownership of engineering activities within your section, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
As a Section Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across your designated work area, supporting the successful delivery of the project from planning through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
