An established project development and construction company seeks a Section Engineer in Cambridge. Responsibilities include managing site works, supervising the team, and ensuring compliance with design and contractual standards. Applicants should have a degree in Civil Engineering or related field, possess Health & Safety training, and hold a UK driving license. Skanska, one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups, is delivering a £679 million improvement project on the A428 in Cambridgeshire to bring a new 10-mile dual carriageway between the Black Cat and Caxton Gibbet roundabouts. Working closely with design partner Mott MacDonald, this project builds on Skanska’s long-standing and trusted relationship with National Highways.
We are now looking for Section Engineers to join the project. As Section Engineer, you will be supportedby the Sub Agent/Agent (among others) and you are expected to take ownership of the site works of the section, leading the planning and coordination of the works and ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the design and contract scopes.
