Job summary

Heathrow Airport is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join a major civils package. You will manage structural and groundworks packages, coordinating self-delivery works and subcontractors to ensure safe delivery, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and has proven experience as a Section Engineer or a Site Engineer ready to step up, with CSCS Card and ideally SMSTS/SSSTS.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as a Section Engineer or ready to step up from Site Engineer.
• Strong background delivering structural, civils and groundworks.
• Experience managing subcontractors and engineering delivery.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate design information.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS desirable.
• Heathrow or major infrastructure project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for structural and groundworks packages.
• Manage self-delivery works and subcontractors to deliver safely and on programme.
• Ensure works meet high quality standards.
• Coordinate between engineering design information and site delivery.

Contract Details

• Location: Heathrow Airport


• Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (Umbrella PAYE), depending on experience


• Contract: 12 months


• Start: ASAP


• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm

Security Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK and be able to obtain CTC Security Clearance. This requires continuous UK employment for the last five years, with no employment outside the UK during this period.
