Laing O'Rourke in Leyland, North West, is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to take technical ownership of a defined section of works. You will coordinate site activities, support junior engineers and work closely with construction, design, commercial and subcontractor teams to deliver safely and to a high standard.

The role emphasises setting-out, surveying and dimensional control, with knowledge of temporary works, quality processes and health and safety.

• Relevant civil engineering or construction qualification.
• Practical engineering experience in a construction environment.
• Experience managing a defined section of works.
• Strong setting-out, surveying and dimensional-control skills.

• Good planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

Expanded are recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to take technical ownership of a defined section of works.

You’ll coordinate siteactivities, support junior engineers and work closely with construction, design, commercial and subcontractor teams to deliver safely and to a high standard.

What will the role involve?

What are we looking for?

Experience with Navisworks, Revit, digital engineering or DfMA would be beneficial but not essential.
