Job description

Do you have experience working as a Section Engineer in the civil engineering sector? Are you currently looking for your next challenge? Our client, a civil engineering contractor, is looking to add a Section Engineer to their team and can offer an interesting and challenging project with long-term work guaranteed.

You will be responsible for a section of works and, whilst reporting into the Sub Agent, will manage the engineering team and subcontractors of your section, ensuring all RAMS are written before works commence. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the engineering team and subcontractors of your section, ensuring all RAMS are written before works commence.
• Ensuring ITP's are recorded and are up to industry standard.
• Monitoring the work to ensure that any H&S concerns and non-compliance with company policies are quickly rectified.
• Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate monthly programme.

The relevant candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar position (highways experience is a bonus).
• Ideally, a Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• CSCS.
• Driving Licence.
• SMSTS and First Aid (beneficial but not essential).
