John Sisk & Son recruiting a Section Engineer for the Birchley Island project in Birmingham. The role focuses on setting-out, site surveys and approvals in line with Drawings, Specifications and ITPs.
Initial 2 months involve night-time trial holes, followed by the ECI phase and then main junction works. You will drive quality, safety and technical compliance across the supply chain.

The Section Engineer will be based on our Birchley Island project with the first 2 months being night work doing trial holes then 6 months on the ECI phase before moving into main junction improvement work.
The Section Engineer is responsible for setting-out the site and dimensional controls in accordance with the relevant contract Drawings, Specification and Site Surveys. Ensures that all relevant tolerances have been catered for without compromising quality or loss of floor space. Is tasked with reviewing construction outputs and planning the most efficient sequence of operations with an emphasis on control of the works, quality and technical advice. The Engineer will carry out their work in accordance with company standard procedures and discharge their duties as listed in the Sisk Safety Statement/Policy.
