Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. You will be responsible for managing your own section and supporting senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes across the restaurant, bar, room service, and event catering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of your section, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during service times.
  • Assist in developing new menu items with creative ideas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, following all food safety regulations.
  • Support junior staff with training and guidance.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and help minimize waste.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role in a hotel or busy restaurant kitchen.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery (desirable).
  • Understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum).
  • Passionate about cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Team-oriented with good communication and time management skills.
  • Reliable, calm under pressure, and flexible to work across a 7-day rota, including weekends and evenings.
