A leading school in Solihull is seeking a Secretary/PA to the Head Teacher. This role combines administrative responsibilities with PA support, contributing to a friendly and professional environment, ideal for candidates with good communication and organisational skills. Secretary/PA to the Head Teacher
Salary: Band C Points 8 to 14 (£25992 to £28624 pro rata)Term time only plus 5 INSET days 8.30 – 4.30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 8.30 – 4.00 Thursday
This is a full time post however part-time working conditions could be considered for the successful candidate.
The role Oak Cottage Primary School wishes to appoint an experienced secretary/PA. With the support of the other staff, you will play a key role in the administrative organisation of the school and deliver PA support to senior leaders. The role will include welcoming visitors and parents into school, dealing with enquiries, maintaining the school management information systems, inputting documents together with reception duties on a daily basis. You will need to have experience of using various computerised systems and databases. We will be looking for excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, a discrete, flexible and professional attitude and the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential and training for all systems can be provided if necessary.
