The successful candidate will be responsible for handling patient queries, maintaining secure patient records, and providing administrative support to clinicians. The Child Development Centre at The Nightingale Centre, Haywards Heath, is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Secretary/Administrator. The ideal candidate will be professional, flexible, enthusiastic, organized, a strong communicator, and a team player.
You will serve as a key contact for patients, external stakeholders, and colleagues, providing supportive responses to various queries and information requests. Additionally, you will support clinicians' caseloads by maintaining up-to-date and secure patient records and responding to related queries.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of secretarial and administrative duties, including processing information (electronic and hard copy), organizing appointments, managing diaries, liaising with external agencies, typing letters, reports, and documentation, and handling inquiries. Supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks will also be required.
