Job summary

Christ’s College Sunderland is seeking a Vice Principal to lead the secondary phase alongside the Principal and Vice Principal Quality of Education. You will champion pastoral leadership, uphold the Christian ethos, and ensure high standards across the curriculum, assessment and behaviour systems.

The postholder will work with senior leaders to embed the ethos throughout the day-to-day life of the school and collaborate with staff and partners to secure outstanding outcomes for every student.

Qualifications

• Experience at AVP level or above in UK education.
• Strong pastoral leadership and safeguarding knowledge.
• Ability to embed Christian ethos across the school.
• Proven track record of raising standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Principal and Vice Principal Quality of Education.
• Develop curriculum and assessment practices across the secondary phase.
• Support teachers to improve practice and raise standards.
• Collaborate with primary colleagues for whole-school coherence.
