Job summary

Milk Alternative, part of Milk Education, is seeking experienced 1:1 tutors to support secondary-aged pupils across Prescot and surrounding areas. You will provide personalised tuition to learners who may have SEND, SEMH, EBSA or other additional learning needs, helping them build confidence and re-engage with education.

Tuition may take place in the pupil's home, school or a community setting, with opportunities to assess progress and provide weekly feedback while adhering to safeguarding

Qualifications

Must be a qualified teacher or experienced tutor.
Ability to plan personalised lessons and monitor progress.
Adapt teaching to individual needs and learning styles.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons.
Provide focused support across English, Maths and/or Science.
Adapt your teaching approach to meet individual needs and learning styles.
Build positive 1:1 relationships with pupils.
Assess and monitor progress against learning outcomes.
Provide weekly feedback on pupil engagement and progress.
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
