Job summary

Star Academies is looking for a dedicated support staff member to help deliver outstanding pupil support at Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, Bradford. You will work to develop learning, nurture SEN pupils, and collaborate with teachers to create a positive classroom culture.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths, experience with children in a school setting, and strong teamwork and communication skills to build relationships with students, parents and staff.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/5 or above.
• Experience of working with children in a secondary school or similar setting.
• Experience of supporting children with SEN.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils to enable an outstanding learning environment.
• Support learning and teaching activities in collaboration with teaching staff.
• Help develop pupils’ learning, behaviour and social skills.
• Work effectively as part of a school-wide support team.
