Job Description:

We are seeking Graduates to join us as Secondary Teaching Assistants in North London from September 2024. This is a full-time, long-term contract opportunity designed for those aspiring to build a career in Education.

This role is ideal for individuals interested in becoming Secondary Teachers, Educational or Clinical Psychologists, Child Psychotherapists, or Speech & Language Therapists. It offers valuable school-based experience, training, and exposure to support your future career development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting SEN & general classroom activities
  • Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
  • Working across secondary age groups (KS3-5, ages 11-18)
  • Engaging with schools in the boroughs of Camden, Islington, Barnet, and Enfield
  • Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm during term time
  • Participating in ongoing school-based training
  • Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and SEN specialists
Candidate Profile:
  • Passionate about Teaching, Learning, SEN, and Mental Health
  • Ideal for aspiring Teachers or Psychologists (Educational, Clinical, or Speech Therapists)
  • Strong academic background with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred
