An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong mainstream Teaching Assistant who is happy to also work with pupils with SEN in a large School comprising Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form sections. The School has classes of up to 30 pupils, including pupils with SEN.

The Role

In this role, you will work in classes of up to 30 pupils, some with SEN. The School seeks someone flexible and willing to move between classrooms as needed. You will also work directly with pupils with SEN within the classroom.

The position primarily involves working with the Secondary School. You will collaborate with the class teacher to support assessment, evidence learning, and create stimulating learning environments with appropriate resources and displays. The role is varied, requiring adaptability, resilience in high-pressure situations, and the ability to manage changing priorities.

The School prefers applicants with previous experience and a dedicated approach to meeting pupils' needs. The ability to motivate pupils toward high achievement is essential. Strong teamwork, classroom, and communication skills are vital.
