Job description

GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our growing team. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across various secondary schools and subjects throughout Tavistock and surrounding areas and provide vital support in maintaining a high standard of education. Whether you re seeking full-time or part-time roles, we offer flexible placements that can suit your availability.

Type of school: SECONDARY MAINSTREAM

School days: 8.30am to 3.30pm

Seeking: Teachers with QTS- various subjects

Rate: £110-£125 PER DAY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
• Assessing student performance and providing feedback.
• Welcoming students and creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

Requirements

To apply for the Supply Teacher position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have relevant teaching qualifications.
• Possess an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one through our service.

• Exhibit excellent communication and classroom management skills.
