Secondary School Teachers – All Subjects (Great Barr, Birmingham)
Day-to-Day, Short-Term and Long-Term Roles Available

Connex Education are working with a group of secondary schools in and around the Great Barr area of Birmingham, who are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers to join their supply pool. We are preparing to support these schools with staffing needs in the coming days and weeks, and are seeking teachers across all subject specialisms.

Whether you are an ECT, QTS, or hold QTLS, we’d love to hear from you. Roles are available on a day-to-day supply basis, as well as short-term cover and longer-term placements.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality lessons across your subject area (KS3 & KS4 focus)
• Adapt to different school environments and follow school policies
• Ensure students remain engaged and make progress in lessons
• Take on full teaching responsibilities for longer-term roles (planning, preparation, and marking)

Requirements

• Secondary-trained teacher with QTS, QTLS, or ECT status
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire learners
• A flexible and proactive approach to supply teaching
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
