Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a secondary teacher to support a comprehensive school in Ceredigion. If you want to help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, prepare them for college or other post-secondary education, and guide students in their pursuit of academic and personal excellence, then we want to hear from you!

Position – Secondary Teacher KS 3-4

Hours – Full time, Monday – Friday

Salary - £166-240 daily rate (varied on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create an Inviting Learning Environment: Help students develop essential study habits, while fostering an environment where they feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn.
  2. Serve as a role model for students and uphold professional ethical standards.
  3. Utilise educational technology in the classroom to enhance learning.
  4. Encourage students to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop their imagination.
  5. Collaborate with parents and other teachers in order to create a learning community that meets the needs of each student.

What we’re looking for:

  1. A Recognised Degree - or equivalent with QTS.
  2. Passion for education and desire to inspire young children.
  3. Experience working with young people in an education setting (desirable but not essential).
  4. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  5. A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
  6. Enthusiasm to participate in continuous professional development.
  7. Right to work in the UK.
