A day in the life

  • Deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned lessons (plans provided or adapted with flair)
  • Support students across KS3KS4, and KS5 where appropriate
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, using fair, consistent strategies
  • Monitor student wellbeing and immediately report any safeguarding concerns
  • Complete key admin such as registers and handover notesso the class teacher can return smoothly
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a safe, supportive environment for every student

What youll bring

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) including Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the Secondary Curriculum
  • Confident, professional classroom management skills
  • A sound understanding of safeguarding procedures and the responsibility to act decisively
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
  • The adaptability to step into new schools, uphold policies, and model best practice
