Secondary Teacher - Bruton

Supply Education Alliance is a supply teacher employment business in its 10th year of establishment actively recruiting Secondary School Teachers (ECTs or experienced) to join our friendly, supportive, and busy agency.

Please note: Our daily pay rate for teachers as a supply teacher recruitment business starts at £120 but can be negotiated up to £200 based on experience, pay scale, and additional responsibilities, and is ultimately at the discretion of school budgets.

Supply Teacher Responsibilities

  1. Delivering cover lessons
  2. Preparing planning
  3. Following safeguarding and school policies
  4. Marking work as needed
  5. Liaising with school staff

Supply Teacher Essentials

  1. QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)
  2. A current DBS or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
  3. A 3-year minimum reference history
  4. Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum
  5. Reliability
  6. Excellent communication skills
