Salary:£140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in your subject specialism, catering to a range of student abilities. You will foster a positive learning environment, track pupil progress, and work collaboratively with staff to raise attainment and enthusiasm for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Use differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching at secondary level (GCSE experience preferred).
  • Subject specialism in your chosen field (e.g., English, Science, Maths, Humanities, etc.).
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A ten-year career history with references covering the past two years, including your most recent role.
