Secondary Supply Teachers – Portsmouth

Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas

Are you a qualified secondary teacher looking for flexible work that fits your lifestyle? Vision for Education is currently recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers to support a range of schools across Portsmouth with day-to-day, short-term, and long-term cover from September.

Whether you're seeking full-time consistency or occasional cover days, we want to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. Assignments vary based on your subject expertise and availability – making this an ideal role for experienced teachers or ECTs building classroom confidence.

You’ll benefit from working in diverse school settings, gaining insight into different departments, and developing your professional experience.

Requirements

We’re looking for teachers who have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching KS3 and/or KS4 in any subject

Good behaviour management and adaptability

A positive, professional approach to teaching in different schools

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
