Job summary

Academics, a trusted education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, is looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to work in a range of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

Role involves delivering pre-planned lessons for KS3/KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available), maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences.

Qualifications

• UK teaching qualification required (QTS/QTLS).
• Recent UK secondary teaching experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel across Staffordshire and Cheshire.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach.
• The ability to travel across Staffordshire and/or Cheshire.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
