Position: Full-Time SEN Teacher
Location: SEN School in Beckenham
Start Date: ASAP or September 2024 (flexible for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications (MPS/UPS + SEN allowance)

About the School:

We are working with an outstanding SEN school in Beckenham that provides tailored education for students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The school is renowned for its supportive environment, excellent facilities, and commitment to inclusive education.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.

Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support holistic development.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as required.

Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome to apply).

Experience working with children with SEN (ASD, SLD, PMLD preferred).

Strong understanding of EHCPs and adaptive teaching strategies.

Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners.

Team Teach training (desirable but not essential).
