Location: Blackpool, FY4
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday), agency basis with potential permanent contract
Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you a passionate and resilient teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teacher to join our specialist SEMH secondary school in Blackpool (FY4). This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment where every day brings a chance to positively impact the life of a student.

As a Teacher in our school, you will:

Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

Build positive, trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma or barriers to education.

Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership to meet students’ academic and emotional needs.

Contribute to curriculum development and the wider school community.

What we are looking for:

Fully qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in mainstream or specialist settings.

Has strong behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach.

Demonstrates patience, creativity, and flexibility in their teaching.

Is committed to inclusive education and the belief that every child can achieve.

Has a good understanding of SEMH and additional needs (experience is desirable but not essential).
