Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a thriving and inclusive secondary school with a strong reputation for academic excellence and pastoral care. The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator to teach across KS3 and KS4/GCSE.

Both ECT’s and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply!

The role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons covering the national curriculum
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to a collaborative and innovative department
  • Track and assess student progress both formally and informally, providing live and written feedback
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including pastoral support when necessary and extra-curricular activities/intervention

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS with a background in Science
  • Passionate about the subject and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of current teaching techniques and behaviour management strategies
