Pay: £32,916–£51,047 per annum (MPS–UPS, depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel are working in close partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Tameside to appoint an engaging and enthusiastic Science teacher from September. The school is part of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust, with a strong focus on academic excellence, inclusive education, and professional development.
This opportunity is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality Science education and committed to supporting pupils of varying abilities.
The Role:
Deliver high-quality, differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
Support pupils in preparing for GCSE examinations and provide targeted intervention where necessary
Develop engaging resources and schemes of work in collaboration with the Science department
Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment activities and curriculum development
Candidate Requirements:
QTS or QTLS status (ECTs will be fully supported through induction)
Recent experience teaching Science at secondary level
A secure understanding of the Science curriculum and exam specifications
A proactive and reflective practitioner, committed to ongoing CPD
Strong classroom management skills and high expectations of pupil behaviour and engagement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
