We are looking for a Qualified Science Teacher for our Secondary School in Darlington.

Role Details:

• Position: Science Teacher for KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable not essential)
• Location: Darlington
• Pay: MPS/UPS (paid to scale based on experience)
• Contract: Full-time, long-term with the potential for a permanent role
• Start Date: April 2025

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Science curriculum
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Science or a related subject
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and a specialism of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to KS4 (KS5 desirable not essential)
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young minds
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
