About the SchoolThis Academy is on an exciting journey, providing excellent education for every child. We have seen our best examination results since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2023-24, with a record number of high grades. As part of Lift Schools, this Academy aims for 90% of its students to achieve at least a grade 4 in English and Mathematics by 2028.

Role & ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting student progress. You will work collaboratively with a supportive and dedicated team of teachers and contribute to the overall success of the school. You will also have opportunities for professional development and growth within the school.
Main tasks includeDevelop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success.
Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to support progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student learning.
Participate in school events and activities.
Must have a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Must have experience teaching secondary school students.
Must have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Must be able to work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Strong classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Commitment to professional development.
A willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
