Secondary School Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Duration: Full time/Ongoing

Salary: £150 – £230 per day

Start Date: After Easter

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Secondary School Teacher to join a very well-established school in Birmingham after the Easter break. If you are an experienced Secondary School Teacher with a passion for teaching and looking for your next opportunity, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. This role is based in the Birmingham area and is an ongoing, full-time position which will last until the end of the academic year with the chance for extension.

What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS)
  • Be eligible to work in the UK or a UK resident
  • Have experience working with children aged 11+
  • Be familiar with the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Have recent experience (within the last 2 years) of working with children
  • Possess a current DBS registered with the update service, or be willing to apply for one
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the students’ needs
  • Ability to plan lessons with some marking also to be expected
