Job description

Tradewind is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Halton, seeking a Food Technician to join their supportive Design and Technology department.

Position Details

This position is available immediately and will be ongoing. The pay rate is up to £95 per day.

Role Responsibilities

The Food Technician will support the smooth operation of the Food department, working closely with the Food Technology Teacher to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to, and that lessons are fully resourced and prepared.

Candidate Requirements

1. Experience working in a school (advantageous)
2. Food Hygiene Certificate
3. Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
4. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
5. Complete career history
6. Two references, including most recent employment
7. Legal right to work in the UK
